1. Who we are

This policy explains how Celebrity Face Stars ("we", "us") processes personal data through celebrityfacestars.in. It is intended to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under them.

2. Data we collect

Account data: email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
Registration data: full name, date of birth, city, Indian mobile number.
Optional profile data: talent category, gender, languages, experience, skills, height, portfolio photographs and portfolio or video links. Gender and height are requested only where relevant to casting requirements.
Guardian data for applicants under 18: guardian name, relationship, mobile and email.
Application, event and payment records: references, statuses, amounts and payment identifiers. We never receive or store full card, UPI PIN or bank credentials.
Consent records: what you agreed to and when.
Technical data: IP address for security and rate limiting, and analytics data if you accept analytics cookies.

3. Why we use it

To create and manage your account and talent profile.
To process applications and event registrations and share your profile with the casting team for opportunities you apply to.
To process payments, issue receipts and handle refunds.
To send service notifications about your account, applications and events.
To send optional marketing updates, only with your separate consent.
To prevent fraud, spam and misuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, and where necessary to provide services you request or to comply with law. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out.

4. Service providers

We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf: Netlify (hosting, database, file storage and authentication), Razorpay (payment processing), Twilio (SMS one-time passwords) and Google Analytics (aggregated usage statistics, only with consent). Your profile is shared with production or brand casting teams only for opportunities you apply to.

5. Storage, security and retention

Data is stored with our hosting provider using encrypted connections. Portfolio photographs are kept in restricted storage visible only to you and authorised staff. Access to applicant records is limited to authorised administrators and every administrative change is logged. We keep account data while your account is active and for up to 12 months after closure, payment records for the period required by tax law, and consent records for as long as needed to demonstrate consent.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct or update your data, request erasure, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, and raise a grievance. Use Account Settings in your dashboard or the Contact Us page.

7. Children

We process the personal data of applicants under 18 only with verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, do not use it for targeted advertising or behavioural monitoring, and apply the safeguards in our Child Applicant and Guardian Consent Policy.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in. With your permission we use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and key actions such as sign-ups or applications. We do not send names, email addresses, mobile numbers, application details or other personally identifiable information to Google Analytics. You can change your choice any time with the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

9. Grievances and contact

Grievances and requests can be raised through our Contact Us page or on our official WhatsApp number +91 98210 01279. We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

10. Changes

We will post any changes here and notify registered applicants of material changes.
